coBuilder Autodesk Revit Plugin can be used to link the coBuilder Product data list with Autodesk Revit Elements, Family Types and Materials. The tool is provided without any licensing requirements, with the exception that the user needs to have an account in ProductXchange with added workplaces and products.


1. Download


Download the ProductXchange plugin for Autodesk® Revit® here.

Run the file and follow the instructions. You may need to restart Autodesk® Product to activate the plugin.



2. Login




2.1. Select “Login” option from CoBuilder PXC tab











2.2. Select login option and input Username and Password from ProductXchange










2.3. Select workplace from ProductXchange














3. Settings




3.1. Select “Settings” button








3.2. Select linking option between Revit built-in Parameters or coBuilder defined Parameters









4. Tagging an Element




4.1. Select “Select Element” button












4.2. Select element from the model









4.3. Select a product from your workplace product list









4.4. The properties are added to the selected element








5. Tagging Family Type




5.1. Select “Select All by Type” button





5.2. Select type from the model




5.3. Select a product from your workplace product list





5.4. The properties are added to the selected family type









6. Link Family Type


6.1. Select “Link Type” button







6.2. Select the families to which you will add a product






6.3. Select a product from the workplace product list and add it to the selected families



6.4. Apply the changes families






6.5. The properties are added to the selected families






7. Link Materials


7.1. Select “Link Material” button




7.2. Select the materials to which you will add a product




7.3. Select a product from the workplace product list and add it to the selected materials



7.4. Apply the changes to materials










7.5. The properties are added to the selected materials






8. Remove product


8.1. Select "Select Element", "Select All by Type", "Link Type" or "Link Material" button.


8.2. Select the objects for which the product should be removed


8.3. Select "Remove" button





9. Product list


9.1. Select "Product list" button



9.2. Select Product from "Product List"
